Sweetbark Maple Syrup | Branding Visuals

Sweetbark Maple Syrup is a small-batch, Ontario-made, gourmet maple syrup brand founded by four young Torontonians, made from sap from a forest of maple trees in Caledon, ON. These guys are some of my favourite clients, they're deeply committed to their craft, the authenticity and quality of their syrup, and are honestly just fun, kind, beautiful people.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to spend a day with the four Sweetbark founders in their sugar bush, documenting their process, as well as some cozy food moments. Our goal was to create some web and social media assets that told the story of the brand from tree to table, integrating the founders into the brand's visual materials and showcasing how maple syrup can be used in all kinds of gourmet food settings, from a mellow sweetener for your morning americano, to a sweet compliment to a charcuterie board, or even as a key element in a farm-to-table dinner.

Check out their Instagram, where you'll see these assets come to life over the next while - as well as their website, where you can email them to order syrup and stay up-to-date on their goings on.

Rose Organics | Product

There's something sacred about your morning beauty routine. That quiet time before the insanity of your day begins where you have a small chance to do something that makes you feel honoured, cleansed and pampered. It's vital that this sacred daily ritual involves products made with care, thought and love - sourced from only the most essential and natural ingredients.

This is the ethos behind the Rose Organics brand, who's gorgeously minimalist yet feminine product packaging was designed by Studio 9 Co. designs. When Jordan Waltz from Studio 9 Co. approached me to work together to create some brand visuals for the line, this is the place from which our styling inspiration began - with an emphasis on natural, organic and elegantly feminine elements.

Working with Jordan to showcase these beautiful products was such a joy - her passion and eye for excellent design snares customer eyes with every product packaging suite she creates. I was so happy to work with her to showcase this beautiful project. If you're in the market for a fabulous product packaging designer, please consider getting in touch with her, you'd be placing yourself in the best of hands.

A few words from the endlessly kind and brilliant Jordan from Studio 9 Co. designs, the creative powerhouse behind the Rose Organics package design.

Lauren is an absolute DREAM to work with!  Not only is she the sweetest person ever, but she executed my vision, goals and the entire brand story for Rose Organics perfectly.  Her eye for finding the magic in minutiae things and styling them they way she does is unbelievable.  I had an idea of what I wanted from our shoot together and she went above and beyond.  Because of her beautiful work (plastered all over my website and Instagram) I have brought in more business and attracted more of my ideal clients.

Mint Floral Co. | Brand Visuals

I recently had the privilege of creating some brand visuals for Laurel Munro of Mint Floral Co. for the launch of her new line of creative workshops & the ongoing promotion of her floral design business.

We worked to bring Laurel’s brand themes of a classic european flower market, the quiet elegance of the still life paintings of dutch masters, and the loose creativity of an artist’s loft to life. The goal was to create a set of images that created a sense of community connection, relaxed creativity and an organic rustic elegance.

The key with small business branding photography projects like this one, is that lifestyle brands don’t just need beautiful photos, but images that speak directly to their target audience, emote their brand message, and draw people into the warmth and meaning of their business.

Laurel’s message comes across immediately - these workshops will not only be beautiful, but a lovely, relaxed environment for learners and artisans to create in. No stuffy inaccessibility here.
